Once again it was time for the annual caribou hunt. The snow cover was good at the start but deteriorated later on as warm weather and winds took their toll. We had a chance to do plenty of trapping as well with 4 martens captured. The caribou forgot to show up. There were a few tracks, but according to the game warden, the bulk of the herd was a lot closer to Bethel. The snowmobiles were running good, except the track tore on the Ovation. Margaret lended her panther for the week, and that was a great help.
